MADISON, N.J. - Facing a 2-0 deficit in the continuation of a game from April 15th, the Arcadia University softball team battled back to take a 3-2 lead before falling 4-3 in extra innings at FDU-Florham in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) action on Tuesday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-FDU-Florham scored two runs in the third, grabbing a 2-0 lead.

Nathalia DiIanni singled home
Allison LaRochelle in the fifth cutting the deficit in half.

Megan Klose tied the score in the sixth when she doubled to left, scoring
Summer Centeno.
-DiIanni notched her second RBI in the eighth when she reached on an error that brought home
Grace Caldwell, giving the Knights their first lead.
-The Devils tied the score in the bottom of the eighth and scored the winning run with three straight two-out hits in the ninth.

Paige Nolan allowed four runs (one earned) on eight hits across 8.2 innings with three walks and six strikeouts.
