AMBLER, Pa. – The Arcadia University baseball team erupted for 15 runs in its win over FDU-Florham on Friday afternoon at Skip Wilson Field.
With the win, the Knights improved their record to 18-7, and 13-2 in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play.
Three Knights recorded three hits in the commanding win.
Alex Madera,
Justin Massielo and
Ryan Smolen all paced the Arcadia offense. Smolen had a career-high five RBI's in the win.
Carson Denham got the start and earned his fourth win of the season on the mound for the Knights. The senior righty threw 5.1 innings, allowing two runs and striking out seven.
Vinny Versaci,
Gabe Marshall,
Jason Pace and
Gavin Kincs all chipped in with scoreless outings for Arcadia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Devils got on the board in the top half of the third inning with two runs.
- Arcadia answered in the home half of the third with seven runs to take the lead.
- The Knights added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth to extend their lead to 9-2.
- For the third consecutive inning, Arcadia added onto its lead, plating six runs in the fifth inning, taking a 15-2 lead.
- Arcadia's pitching held the Devils to one hit in the final 3.2 innings to seal the victory.
