GLENSIDE - Double-doubles from
Delaney Bell and
Katie Rodriguez keyed a second half that lifted the Arcadia University women's basketball team to a 70-58 victory over Delaware Valley University in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 14-1 overall and 3-1 in MAC Freedom play.
-Delaware Valley fell to 11-4 overall and 2-2 in league contests.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The score was tied 9-9 with 3:42 left in the first quarter, but the Aggies closed the initial frame on a 7-0 run as Arcadia trailed 16-9.
-Delaware Valley made a three-pointer to start the second.
-The Knights outscored the Aggies 19-10 the rest of the way but still trailed 29-28 at halftime.
-With the score tied at 42 and 2:13 remaining in the third, Arcadia used a 6-1 to take a 48-43 lead into the final quarter.
-The Knights began the fourth on a 19-6 run, taking a commanding 67-49 advantage as they closed out the victory.

-Bell secured her 14th career double-double.
