NORTHAMPTON, Ma. - The Arcadia University women's basketball team suffered its first defeat of the season 92-56 to No, 16 Smith College in non-conference play on Sunday afternoon.

Taylor Koenig and Delaney Bell were named All-Tournament.

FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia fell to 1-1 on the season.

-Smith improved to 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Arcadia trailed 6-5 before an 8-0 run put Smith ahead 14-5.

-The Knights trailed 27-16 at the end of the first quarter.

-A 12-2 run to start the second put the Pioneers ahead by 21.

-Arcadia was unable to mount a comeback the rest of the way.
