LEXINGTON, S.C. - A steady stream of runs lifted the No. 21 Arcadia University baseball team to a 9-1 win over Case Western Reserve University in non-conference play on Monday afternoon.

FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 7-3.

-Case Western Reserve, who is receiving vites in the latest national poll, fell to 6-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Matt Donchez opened the scoring in the top of the first on a fielder's choice that scored Solomon Griffith.

-Case Western Reserve tied the score in the bottom of the first.

-Eli Savitt gave the Knights the lead back in the second when his bunt single was thrown away allowing Griffin Murphy to score before a Griffith ground out brought home Gabe Diaz.

-Anthony Bruno increased the lead to 4-1 in the fourth when he doubled home Griffith.

-Eric Shandler brought home Matthew Sot in the fifth on a sacrifice fly to make the score 5-1.

-Bruno, Diaz, Justin Massielo, and Shandler all racked up RBI's in the back half of the game to help Arcadia get the win.

-Nadell Booker earned the win with 4.2 scoreless innings of relief, striking out three.
