LEXINGTON, S.C. - A steady stream of runs lifted the No. 21 Arcadia University baseball team to a 9-1 win over Case Western Reserve University in non-conference play on Monday afternoon.

-The Knights improved to 7-3.
-Case Western Reserve, who is receiving vites in the latest national poll, fell to 6-3.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Matt Donchez opened the scoring in the top of the first on a fielder's choice that scored
Solomon Griffith.
-Case Western Reserve tied the score in the bottom of the first.

Eli Savitt gave the Knights the lead back in the second when his bunt single was thrown away allowing
Griffin Murphy to score before a Griffith ground out brought home
Gabe Diaz.

Anthony Bruno increased the lead to 4-1 in the fourth when he doubled home Griffith.

Eric Shandler brought home
Matthew Sot in the fifth on a sacrifice fly to make the score 5-1.
-Bruno, Diaz,
Justin Massielo, and Shandler all racked up RBI's in the back half of the game to help Arcadia get the win.

Nadell Booker earned the win with 4.2 scoreless innings of relief, striking out three.
