LEXINGTON, S.C. - The No. 23 Arcadia University baseball team split the third day of its spring break trip, topping Swarthmore 8-5 before falling 17-1 to Ithaca.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 8, SWARTHMORE 5
-Swarthmore jumped out to a 4-0 lead through the first five innings.
-Arcadia began its comeback in the sixth on RBI's from
Justin Massielo and
Jet Cajigas to make it 4-2.
-After the Garnet added a run in the bottom of the sixth, the Knights mounted a furious comeback in the bottom of the ninth when
Anthony Bruno knocked a two run single to left to cut the deficit to 5-4.Â
-Massielo walked to bring home
Solomon Griffith with the tying run.

Thomas Strauch put Arcadia ahead for good with a bases-clearing triple to right-center bringing home Bruno,
Matt Donchez, and Massielo.

Vinny Versaci earned the win with two shutout innings of relief.

Cam Nebel notched his third save with a scoreless ninth.
