CLERMONT, Fl. - The Arcadia University softball team defeated Plymouth State 14-7 in game after falling to Cortland State 9-1 in six innings to wrap up its spring trip to Florida on Thursday.

GAME TWO: ARCADIA 14, PLYMOUTH STATE 7

Grace Caldwell opened the scoring bringing home
Megan Klose in the top of the second.

Madi Costigan,
Zoey Ritter, and
Allie LaRochelle all had RBI's in the second as the Knights lead grew to 4-0.
-Plymouth State closed the gap to 4-3 in the bottom of the second.
-Costigan and LaRochelle each brought runs home in the third to make the lead 6-3.
-Plymouth State took a 7-6 lead with three runs in the fourth.

Nathalia DiIanni tied the score in the fifth with a double scoring Costigan.

Alexa Kozarski retook the lead for Arcadia on a two-run double bringing in Ritter and DiIanni.
-The Knights piled on in the seventh with RBI's from
Summer Centeno, Caldwell, Costigan, and LaRochelle.

Paige Nolan earned the win with four shutout innings of relief, allowing two hits with six strikeouts.
