GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's volleyball team dropped a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) contest to No. 2 Stevens, 3-0 on Friday evening inside Alumni Gymnasium.
 
The Knights are now 13-8 on the year and 2-1 in MAC play.
 
Danny Gonzalez led the Arcadia attack with eight kills.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 
Set 1: Stevens 25, Arcadia 16:
The Knights took the first point of the match, but Stevens won the next seven for an early lead. Arcadia battled back to get within three points at 14-11. The Ducks then took the next three points to extend their lead to 17-11 and went on to close out the set and take a 1-0 lead in the match.
 
Set 2: Stevens 25, Arcadia 8:
The Ducks went on a 10-1 run in the middle of the set to take control, which led to them winning the second set.
 
Set 3: Stevens 25, Arcadia 19:
The Knights held a 9-8 lead, but Stevens went on a 5-0 run to take a 13-9 lead. Arcadia then cut the lead to one at 13-12 through a 3-0 run. The Knights cut their deficit to one on three more occasions but could not get over the hump as the Ducks took the third set and the match.
