GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's tennis team beat Rowan College of South Jersey 8-1 in its home opener on Saturday afternoon at the Weiss Tennis Courts.
The Knights swept all three doubles and won five singles matches.
SINGLES RESULTS
- At No 1 singles,
Savannah Falk beat her opponent 6-0, 6-1.
- At No. 2 singles,
Leah Hatcher lost to RCSJ's Sidney Ivey 5-7, 3-6.
- At No. 3 singles,
Kate Wyszkowski swept her opponent 6-0, 6-0
- At No. 4 singles,
Link Bertrand won 6-1, 6-0.
- At No. 5 singles,
Keely Ochs topped her opponent 6-0, 6-2.
- At No. 6 singles,
Jessie Friel 6-4, 1-6, 1-0(11-9).
DOUBLES RESULTS
- At No. 1 doubles, Falk and
Karolina Iordache beat their opponents 8-1.
- At No 2 doubles, Wyszkowski and
Bella Bauman topped RCSJ's pair 8-0.
- At No. 3 doubles, Hatcher and
Bridgit Terry swept their match 8-0.
