Men's Lacrosse Downed by Cabrini

GLENSIDE, Pa. The Arcadia University men's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference game to Cabrini, 17-9, on Wednesday night at Jean Lenox West Field.
 
The Knights are now 3-3 on the year.
 
Billy Burton, Dylan Garber, and Alex Adamczyk all had two goals for Arcadia. Reilly Robichaud, Andrew Borum and Tristan Johnson all chipped in with one.
 
Joseph Tesler made 17 saves in cage for Arcadia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Knights started strong, scoring three of the first four goals of the game through Garber, Adamczyk and Johnson. Cabrini ended the quarter on a 3-0 run to take a 4-3 lead after the first quarter.
  • The Cavaliers grew their lead in the second quarter, outscoring Arcadia, 4-2, in the frame. Burton scored the first and last goal of the quarter as Cabrini led 8-5 after 30 minutes of action.
  • Cabrini extended its lead to 10-5 in the early stages of the third quarter, but Garber and Borum scored the next two goals to get Arcadia within three. The Cavaliers closed the frame on a 3-1 run as they led 13-8 heading into the final 15 minutes of play.
  • Adamczyk scored the lone goal for the Knights in the fourth quarter as they were outscored 4-1 in the frame.
