GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University men's volleyball team fell by a 3-0 final (16-25, 23-25, 12-25) to Randolph-Macon College in non-conference play from Alumni Gymnasium on Friday evening.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights fell to 10-7.
-Randolph-Macon improved to 9-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-With the score tied at five in the first set, the Yellow Jackets began to pull away, leading 15-10 before a 10-5 stretch gave Arcadia a first-set defeat.
-Trailing 10-9 in set two, the Knights scored four straight points to go ahead 13-10.
-A 12-3 stretch for Randolph-Macon gave the Knights a 22-16 deficit before Arcadia rattled off five consecutive points to make the score 22-21.
-The Yellow Jackets took a commanding two sets to none lead after notching set two 25-23.
-Set three was knotted at seven before a 23-5 run gave Randolph-Macon the win.
