DALLAS, Pa. - The No. 17 Arcadia University baseball team, the No. 2 seed in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Tournament, fell at No. 1 Misericordia University by 8-7 and 2-1 finals on Saturday.
-Arcadia fell to 31-12.
-Misericordia moved to 32-9.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: NO. 2 ARCADIA 7, NO. 1 MISERICORDIA 8

Tommy Ajjan got the scoring started in the top of the second with a two-run home run.
-Misericordia took the lead with two runs in the bottom of the second and a run in the bottom of the third.
-
Matt Donchez tied the score at 3-3 in the top of the fifth before
Anthony Bruno brought home Donchez on a groundout.
-After the Cougars retook the lead with two runs in the bottom of the seventh,
Emilio Pallante and Donchez combined to drive three runs home, giving the Knights a 7-5 lead in the top of the eighth.
-Misericordia tied the score with two runs in the bottom of the eighth, and won the contest with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth.
