Women's Volleyball Drops Contest To Montclair State

MONTCLAIR, N.J. - The Arcadia University women's volleyball team falls to Montclair State in five sets.
 

Nicole Dallara led the Knights with 15 kills in this match. Bryana Saez tallied 48 assist in this contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: Montclair State 23, Arcadia 25

The beginning of this set was a highly contested set. The Knights were trailing by seven in the middle of the frame where they were able to start a comeback. Arcadia was able to score three straight to take the first set.

Set 2: Montclair State 25, Arcadia 23

The Knights trailed at most six points the second set. They were able to stay in close competition with the Red Hawks, but dropped the second set by two.
 

Set 3: Montclair State 19, Arcadia 25

Arcadia was able to go on a 6-0 run making the score 12-10 in the middle of the frame. The Knights had all of the momentum from there as they kept the lead and secured the third set. 
 

Set 4: Montclair State 25, Arcadia 19

The Knights had a strong start to the fourth set. In the middle of the frame both teams were tied. Montclair State was able to go on a run to take set four.
 

Set 5: Montclair State 15, Arcadia 7

The Red Hawks gained the lead in the final set and did not let go of it as the secured the 3-2 win.
