GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's volleyball team split two games today between York College of Pennsylvania and Haverford college.
Nicole Dallara tallied 28 kills to lead the Knights attack this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: ARCADIA 26, YORK 24
York was able to go on a 5-1 run to start the first set. The Knights were able to battle back and tie the set at 7. In the middle of the frame, Arcadia went on a run making the score 18-13. The Spartans found a way to get back into the set where they tied it at 23. The Knights were able to secure the last two points of the set to take set one.
Set 2: ARCADIA 25, YORK 21
The Knights started off strong going on a 8-1 run. Arcadia controlled the second set and was ahead for the rest of the time. Julia Archelle had the final kill to take the second set for the Knights.
Set 3: ARCADIA 25, YORK 20
The Spartans had the lead of the third set until the Knights were able to go on a 9-1 run making the score 13-6. Arcadia and York went back and forth on scoring points until the Knights got four straight. Another kill by Archelle concluded the third set giving Arcadia the sweep.

Set 1: HAVERFORD 25, ARCADIA 17
The Knights were able to capture the first three points of the set, but the Fords were able to double that in response making the score 6-3 Haverford. Arcadia was in a battle but Haverford was able to go on a run and pull away from them, taking set one.
Set 2: HAVERFORD 25, ARCADIA 19
The beginning of this set was highly contested and in the middle of the frame, the Knights were able to keep it within two. The Fords had enough to pull away and solidified set two.
Set 3: HAVERFORD 25, ARCADIA 20
Haverford started out strong in this set giving the Knights a chance to get back into this game. The Knights were able to get within three, but the fords were able to secure the last two points of this set.
