NEW ORLEANS, La – The Arcadia University men's and women's cross country team qualified for the 2024 U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team as announced by the association on Thursday.

The men's cross country team qualified by having a 3.34 average GPA and the women's qualified with a 3.28 as a team. The minimum requirement was to have a 3.10 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

April Browne was also named to the 2024 USTFCCCA Cross Country All-Academic team.

The criteria for Browne was as follows:

• The student-athlete must have a) placed in the top 50% of finishers at the National Cross Country Championship, b) placed in the top 25% of starters at respective Regional Cross Country Championship, and/or c) been named All-Region (Top 35 at respective region).
• The student athlete must have at least a 3.30 out of a 4.0 GPA.
