NEWTOWN, Pa. - Arcadia University women's soccer first-year Sadie Nugent and men's tennis junior Bernardo Figueiredo have been named Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Players of the Week, as announced the conference office on Tuesday morning.

Nugent tallied a goal and two assists in Arcadia's 6-1 victory over DeSales, helping the Knights to their first conference win of the season. The first-year now ranks among the MAC Freedom leaders in goals (6), assists (3), and points (15). 

Figueiredo went 4-2 across singles and doubles play to help Arcadia to a 2-1 week. He earned straight-set wins in singles over Cairn and Penn State Berks and added two doubles victories alongside Aaron Allen.
