GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's volleyball team got back in the win column Tuesday evening with a decisive conference victory over Delaware Valley. The Knights (11-9, 2-2 MAC Freedom) swept the Aggies in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-19, and 25-10.

Set One: Arcadia 25, DelVal 17

Delaware Valley opened with a 3-1 lead, but three straight points — including kills from Callie McGuire and Nina Corazo and an ace from Chana Rothschild — gave Arcadia the early advantage.

The Aggies tied the set at 7-7 before Arcadia capitalized on several DelVal miscues and a kill from Anna Keer to regain a 10-7 lead.

The Knights extended their lead to 17-10 behind a pair of Rothschild kills, four Aggie errors, and another kill from Corazo.

Back-to-back kills from Keer and Kylie Strange forced a DelVal timeout, but a Devon Young kill and three straight Aggie errors sealed a 25-17 win for Arcadia.
Set Two: Arcadia 25, DelVal 19

The Knights came out firing, jumping to an 8-0 lead highlighted by kills from Young, Corazo, and Rothschild.

DelVal responded with a 4-0 run, but Arcadia answered right back with a 4-0 run of its own, sparked by a McGuire kill.

With a 14-7 advantage, the Knights went on a 5-0 run that featured an ace from Kelsi Warner and kills from Keer and McGuire, pushing the lead to 19-7.

The Aggies cut the deficit with a short run, but back-to-back kills from Young and two more from Corazo secured the 25-19 set win and a commanding 2-0 match lead.
Set Three: Arcadia 25, DelVal 10

After a 2-2 tie, a block assist from Maddie Gavin Ruple and Corazo, followed by a McGuire kill and solo block, gave Arcadia control early.

An ace from Warner, a McGuire kill, and several DelVal errors extended the lead to 8-4.

The Aggies briefly stopped the rally with a kill, but the Knights responded with a 5-0 run fueled by kills from Strange and Young.

Leading 18-10, Arcadia closed out the set — and the match — with a dominant 7-0 run. McGuire, Keer, and Strange all added kills in the final stretch, and Warner sealed the sweep with a match-ending ace.
