GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's volleyball team split its home tri-match on Saturday. In the first game, the Knights (12-9, 2-2 MAC Freedom) swept Alvernia in straight sets (25-22, 25-17, 25-20) before falling to Stockton in the nightcap, also in straight sets (25-11, 25-21, 25-14). Prior to the first match, the Knights celebrated Senior Day, honoring the careers of Juliana Bockhaus, Kelsi Warner, Callie McGuire, Sydney Steiner, Hannah Fryer, and Kylie Strange.

Set One: Arcadia 25, Alvernia 22

Callie McGuire picked up the first kill for the Knights to give Arcadia an early 2–1 lead before Alvernia responded with a 3–0 run.

The Knights answered with a 3–0 run of their own, highlighted by blocks from Kylie Strange and Nina Corazo and kills from Strange and McGuire.

With the score tied at 7–7, Arcadia went on an 8–2 run to take a 15–9 lead, featuring kills from Anna Keer, a block from Keer and Chana Rothschild, an ace from Strange, and three more kills from Rothschild.

Devon Young delivered back-to-back kills to push the Knights to 20 points. A block by Young and Rothschild followed by a McGuire kill made it 23–18.

Alvernia attempted to rally, but McGuire closed out the set with a final kill, giving Arcadia a 25–22 win.

A 7–2 run extended the Knights' advantage to 11–6, sparked by three kills from McGuire, a kill from Rothschild, and a block from Corazo and Rothschild.

Alvernia cut the deficit to one at 14–13, but Arcadia erupted for an 8–1 run to build a 22–14 lead.

The Knights closed the set on a 3–0 run, capped by an Alvernia error, an ace from Warner, and a block from McGuire and Strange to seal the 25–17 win.
