Women's Soccer Opens Conference Play with Draw

GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's soccer team opened Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play with a 2-2 draw against Lebanon Valley College from Jean Lenox West Field on Saturday afternoon.

FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia moved to 7-1-3 overall and 0-0-1 in conference play.

-LVC stands at 7-1-2 and 0-0-1, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Juliette Salvi opened the scoring for the Knights in the second minute when she launched an indirect just under the crossbar in the second minute for her first career goal.

-LVC tied the score in the 48th minute, the first goal Arcadia had given up since August 31st.

-The Knights wasted no time regaining the lead when Ciara Garrett scored 33 seconds later.

-The Dutchmen finished the scoring with the equalizer in the 73rd minute.

-Abby Fuchs made two saves.
