COLMAR, Pa. – Arcadia University women's ice hockey team defeated Stevenson University 3-1 in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) play on Saturday afternoon.
All three goals came from a power play advantage.

-The Knights moved to 6-0-1, 4-0-1 (MAC)
-Stevenson fell to 0-6-1, 0-4-1 (MAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Arcadia controlled the first period out shooting its opponent, but could not put one in.
- The Knights started the period on the power play, but Stevenson killed it off.
- Midway through the second period, Chloe Makinson scored the first goal of the game on a power play.
- 20 seconds later, the Mustangs tied the game.
- Arcadia's Phoebe Roberts took the lead for the Knights with seven minutes remaining in the second period.
- Nearing the end of the first, Maeve Hourihan found the back of the net on a power play advantage making the score 2-1.
- The Knights maintained controlled and upheald strong defense for the third period.
