NEW LONDON, Ct. – Arcadia University women's ice hockey team dropped their first contest this season 3-1 against Connecticut College in a non-conference match-up.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Arcadia applied constant pressure in the first period with multiple shots coming from Reese Plotnikoff and Rheya Zemlak.
- The Camels took a one goal lead with six minutes remaining in the first period.
- The Knights went on a power play advantage but could not convert.
- Connecticut scored their second goal of the game on a 5 on 3 advantage.
- The Camels extended their lead to three in the third period right on the end of a power play.
- Arcadia's Carys Jelley capitalized on a loose-puck moment and prevented the shutout.
- Gabby Meger collected 30 saves.
