EWING, N.J. - Delaney Bell missed the single-game record for scoring by one point as four players in double-figures led the Arcadia University women's basketball team to a season-opening 87-75 win at The College of New Jersey, the preseason favorite in the New Jersey Athletic Conference, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights trailed 15-11 with 3:39 left in the first quarter but a 10-2 stretch to finish the frame gave Arcadia a 21-17 lead after 10 minutes.
-
Delaney Finn hit a three-pointer to start the second quarter scoring and put the Knights up seven, but a 10-0 run put the Lions back in front 27-24 with just over half the quarter remaining.
-The Knights made up ground as both teams entered the break with 34 points.
-Arcadia trailed by two at 39-37 with 90 seconds passed in the the third before a 19-7 streak put the Knights ahead 56-46 with just over two minutes remaining.
-TCNJ cut the advantage to four in the final quarter but it was unable to get any closer as Arcadia sealed the season-opening victory.
