CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - A 48-point first half powered the Arcadia University women's basketball team to a 69-60 win at DeSales in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play on Saturday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 12-7 overall and 6-2 in conference play.
-DeSales fell to 11-8 and 4-4, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights started strong, leading 24-9 after the first 10 minutes.
-
Hanna Rhoades began the second with back-to-back three-pointers, but a 6-0 run by DeSales cut the lead to 30-18 four minutes in.
-A 12-0 run gave Arcadia a 42-18 advantage with two minutes on the clock.
-The Knights led 48-22 going into halftime.
-Arcadia maintained a large lead heading into fourth at 61-33.
-The Bulldogs attempted to close the gap with a 27-8 fourth quarter but the Knights held on for the win.
