GLENSIDE - Trailing 35-29 going into halftime, the Arcadia University women's basketball team used a 43-24 second half to defeat Stevens Institute of Technology by a 72-59 final in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 13-7 overall and 7-2 in conference play.
-Stevens fell to 12-8 and 6-3, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Stevens began the game with a 10-2 run through the first five minutes.Â
-Arcadia cut the deficit to 10-9, trailing at the end of the first 17-13.
-The Knights were outscored 18-16 in the second, facing a six-point score at the half.
-After the Ducks hit the first shot of the third, Arcadia went on a 16-5 run the rest of the quarter, holding a 45-42 lead going into the final 10 minutes.
-The Knights went a perfect 12-for-12 at the line over the final three minutes to close out the victory.
