GLENSIDE - Leading by three at halftime, the Arcadia University women's basketball team defeated King's College by a 71-50 final in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 14-7 overall and 8-2 in conference play.
-King's fell to 7-14 and 3-7, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The game remained scoreless through the first 90 seconds before a
Mara Weaver layup got the Knights on the board.
-King's used a 7-1 run to go ahead 7-3 four minutes in.
-Arcadia closed the gap, with both teams locked in a 13-13 tie at the end of the first.
-With the score tied at 29,
Delaney Bell hit a three with 39 seconds left as the Knights entered halftime with a 32-29 lead.
-Arcadia led 39-36 three minutes in but finished the third on a 19-6 stretch, entering the fourth with a 58-42 lead.
-A 13-8 fourth sealed the victory.
