NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - The Arcadia University men's volleyball team fell to No. 18 SUNY New Paltz 1-3 (22-25, 24-26, 25-22, 18-25) on Friday evening in non-conference action.

-SUNY New Paltz moved to 11-10.

HOW IT HAPPENED
SET ONE: ARCADIA 22, SUNY NEW PALTZ 25
-The Knights scored the first point of the match with a kill by Danny Gonzalez.
-Tucker Elicio tied the set at 12 with a kill.
-Arcadia's Josh Clendening gave the Knights a four point lead nearing the end of the set.
-New Paltz went on a run and took set one.
SET TWO: ARCADIA 24, SUNY NEW PALTZ 26
-Both teams traded points to begin this set.
-A block by Reece Dodd gave the Knights three point advantage.
-Arcadia fell behind three points before the went on a 9-2 run and took the lead at 24.
-The Hawks scored five straight to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
SET THREE: ARCADIA 25, SUNY NEW PALTZ 22
-The start of set three was another heavily contested set.
-In the middle of the frame, the Knights took a one point lead.
-Arcadia outscored its opponent 9-5 to secure its first set.
SET FOUR: ARCADIA 18, SUNY NEW PALTZ 25
-SUNY took a 5-3 advantage to start the fourth set.
-The Knights came within one on a block from Riley Kodidek and Dodd.
-The Hawks maintained its lead and collected a win.
