AMBLER, Pa. - The Arcadia University baseball team fell twice in its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) baseball doubleheader with No. 15 Misericordia, falling 1-0 in game one and 16-5 in game two.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights fell to 8-7 overall and 1-2 in conference.
-Misericordia improved to 11-5 and 2-1, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 0, NO. 15 MISERICORDIA 1
-The game was scoreless until the top of the fifth when the Knights got a strikeout that would have ended the inning with runners on first and third but the ball got away and allowed the batter to reach first and the runner from third to score.
-
Braden Kelly took a tough-luck loss, allowing one run on one hit in 4.2 innings with one walk and two strikeouts.

-Misericordia jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first.

Kevin Wheeler and Strauch each had RBI's in the bottom of the frame as the Knights cut the deficit in half at 4-2.
-The Cougars added three runs in the second, and one in the third and fourth, sixth in the eighth, and one in the ninth.
-Arcadia plated one run in the seventh and two in the eighth.
