MADISON, N.J. - Three hits each from
Gabe Diaz and
Max Oswald, and four scoreless innings of relief from
Cam Nebel led the Arcadia University baseball team to an 8-2 win in its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) opener at FDU-Florham on Friday afternoon.

-The Knights improved to 10-7 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
-FDU-Florham fell to 7-10 and 2-2, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Anthony Bruno opened rhe scoring in the top of the first when he brought home Diaz with an RBI groundout.
-Arcadia increased its led to 3-0 in the top of the third on an RBI double from Oswald that brought home Wheeler, and a run-scoring single off the bat of
Joshua Agriesti plating Oswald.
-FDU-Florham cut the lead to 3-2 in the bottom of the third.
-Wheeler and Oswald pushed the advantage to 5-2 in the fourth.
-The Knights added two more runs in the eighth to finish the scoring.
-Nebel moved to 3-0, tossing 4.0 one-hit innings with five walks and seven strikeouts.
