MADISON, N.J. - The Arcadia University softball team split its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) doubleheader at FDU-Florham on Saturday, taking game two 7-4 after falling 6-4 in game one.

GAME TWO: ARCADIA 7, FDU-FLORHAM 4

Zoey Ritter opened the scoring in the top of the first with a sacrifice fly that brought home
Nathalia DiIanni.
-Ritter doubled the lead in the third with a run-scoring groundout that scored
Grace Caldwell.
-DiIanni and
Caity Hinton each had RBI singled in the fourth to bring the lead to 4-0.
-After FDU-Florham closed the lead to 4-3,
Sydney Steiner launched a two-run double as part of a three-run top of the seventh.
-
Paige Nolan earned the win, allowing three runs in six innings with four walks and three strikeouts.

Juliana Presto got Arcadia on the board in the top of the second when she brought home Hinton.
-Caldwell laced a three-run triple to right to put the Knights up 4-0 but was out at the plate trying for an inside-the-park home run.
-The Devils scored three runs in the third, one in the fourth, and two in the sixth unanswered.
