EWING, N.J. - Grace Caldwell's one-out bases-loaded single in the top of the seventh and a complete-game from
Mac Champion helped the Arcadia University softball team to a 2-1 game one win before a 16-0 defeat at The College of New Jersey in non-conference play on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 2, TCNJ 1
-Caldwell opened the scoring in the top of the fifth with a triple to left that scored
Alexa Kozarski.
-After TCNJ tied the score in the bottom of the sixth, Caldwell gave the Knights the lead with her single that scored
Zoey Ritter.
-Champion earned the win, allowing one run on seven hits in a a complete game with zero walks and two strikeouts.
