GLENSIDE - Arcadia University women's basketball junior
Delaney Bell has been named Academic All-Area by Philly-SIDA, as announced by the association on Tuesday afternoon.

Bell continues to add to her recognition after she earned her second All-Region selection while also being named the program's first conference Player of the Year and earning her second First Team All-Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) nod. Bell averaged 15.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks-per-game this season. Bell finished with a season-high 27 points on February 8th against King's, and surpassed the 1,000 point mark on February 15th against Delaware Valley.

The Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area team is selected by the athletics communications offices from the 30 institutions in the Philadelphia area. The Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area program is now in its 20th season.
