HOBOKEN, N.J. - Four runs through the first four innings and solid pitching led the No. 3 seed Arcadia University baseball team to a 4-3 win over top-ranked Stevens in game one of the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Championship on Saturday afternoon.

FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 27-15 and took a 1-0 lead in the series.

-Stevens fell to 28-15.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Joshua Agriesti got the scoring started in the top of the second when he launched a two-run homer to left that brought in Jake Hendershot.

-Hendershot extended the lead to 3-0 in the top of the third when he singled to left scoring Anthony Bruno.

-Derek Rivera finished the scoring for the Knights in the top of the fourth with a solo home run to right.

-Stevens got on the board with a single run in the bottom of the fifth.

-The Ducks added two more runs in the bottom of the ninth to cut the lead to 4-3, but Cam Nebel slammed the door shut to give the Knights the series lead.

-Will Conroy went 4.1 innings, allowing one run on three hits with three walks and three strikeouts.
