CLEVELAND, Oh. - Will Conroy allowed two runs in six innings and Derek Rivera reached base four times as the Arcadia University baseball team opened the 2025 Cleveland Regional of the NCAA Division III Tournament with an 11-3 win over No. 16 Centre College at Case Western Reserve University on Friday afternoon.

FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 29-15.

-Centre fell to 30-10.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Centre opened the scoring with a run in the bottom of the first. 

-The Knights took the lead for good in the top of the third with six runs.

-Max Oswald got the Knights on the board when his sacrifice bunt was thrown away, allowing Rivera and Kevin Wheeler to score.

-Anthony Bruno followed with a single past a drawn-in infield, bringing in Oswald.

-The Knights crossed the plate three more times with the help of Colonel errors.

-Centre cut the lead to 6-2 in the top of the fourth.

-Joshua Agriesti brought home Noah Stennett with a ground out in the top of the seventh.

-Oswald brought home Rivers with a single to right in the top of the eighth, followed by a double to right from Stennett plating Bruno.

-Agriesti finished the scoring for the Arcadia with a two-run double to right-center.

-Conroy earned the win, allowing two runs in six innings on seven hits with six strikeouts.

-Cam Nebel earned his second save, allowing one run over the final three innings.
