GLENSIDE – The Arcadia University Department of Athletics and Recreation has announced the hiring of Aicha Bellaoucha as the Coordinator of Academic Success & NCAA Compliance. Bellaoucha begins her duties on June 2, 2025.

Bellaoucha comes to Glenside after spending the last two years as a Graduate Assistant at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in the Act 101 Program. This program focuses on servicing IUP students to make the ideal of equal educational opportunity a reality for all qualified students. In this role, Bellaoucha facilitated student learning and academic success, monitored and supported academic progress of Act 101 students, developed and delivered student success workshops, and conducted outreach to eligible Act 101 students.

Bellaoucha graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Education - Disability Services in 2023 from IUP, and graduated with a Masters of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education as well as Science Academic Advising Certificate from IUP this May. From August of 2024 to December of 2024, Bellaoucha was a practicum student in the Student Inclusion Office within the Multicultural Center. There she assisted in planning, coordinating and executing programs and events that promoted inclusivity, facilitated outreach efforts to ensure effective engagement with diverse student populations, and provided administrative support.
During her undergraduate time at IUP, she served as a Student Support Assistant for the football team where she assisted the team with the recruiting program, directed game day recruitment visits, managed field and game day activities, guided players to achieve academic and personal goals, and supported the organization and execution of team events and community outreach programs.

"I look forward to building strong relationships and creating a lasting impact through compliance, mentorship, and student success initiatives at Arcadia University."
