Women's Volleyball Sweeps Cedar Crest

GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University's women's volleyball team swept Cedar Crest College (25-13, 25-16, 25-21) on Wednesday night in their Childhood Cancer Awareness game.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 25, CEDAR CREST 13

- Cedar Crest opened with two quick points.

- Devon Young and Chana Rothschild responded with kills to spark Arcadia's offense.

- Back-and-forth play kept the score tight early.

- Back-to-back kills from Julia Archelle pushed the Knights ahead 15–11.

- The Knights closed the set on a 13-2 run, capped by Saenz's service ace.

Set 2: ARCADIA 25, CEDAR CREST 16

- Arcadia jumped out to a 4-0 lead with a kill from Young and two service aces by Hannah Fryer.

- Juliana Bockhaus gave Arcadia momentum with two service aces, pushing the Knights ahead 9-8.

- Late kills from Nina Corazo and Kelsi Warner helped Arcadia stay in control.

- The Knights took the set 25-16.

Set 3: ARCADIA 25, CEDAR CREST 21

- The Falcons started strong with four straight points.

- Sydney Steiner provided a huge spark coming off the bench, delivering a service ace, and two kills.

- Cedar Crest answered with a run of its own, tying the score at 13.

- Arcadia secured the set 25-21.
