COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's tennis team finished up play at the Ursinus College Tournament.
HOW IT HAPPENED
SINGLES ROUND 2
-The Knights started the second day of the tournament facing Albright in singles.
-In the No. 1 singles position,
Bernardo Figueiredo won 6-1, 6-3.
-
Aaron Allen fell in at No. 2 singles, 2-6, 2-6.
-In the No. 3 singles spot,
Kevin McHale was dropped a tight match losing, 4-6, 7-6 (3), 11-13.
-At No. 4 singles, Luis Figueiredo, dropped his match, 3-6, 1-6.
-Leo Dupont fell in the No. 5 singles spot, 2-6, 1-6.
-Stas Bazarov battled in the No. 6 singles spot, falling 3-6, 6-4, 8-10.
-Competing in the No. 7 singles position, Jason Small fell, 4-6, 0-6.
SINGLES ROUND 3
-Arcadia faced Alvernia in the third round of singles.
-B. Figueiredo defeated his opponent, 8-5.
-McHale beat his opponent, 8-5.
-L. Figueiredo won 8-4.
-Leo Dupont fell in a tough battle, 3-4.
DOUBLES ROUND 3
-Arcadia competed in the doubles bracket against Ursinus.
-Allen and B. Figueiredo defeated their opponent 6-4.
-McHale and L. Figueiredo fell 3-6.
-Dupont and Bazarov dropped their match, 1-6.
