DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's cross country team competed at the Aggie Open on Saturday, which also served as the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship preview race. The Knights placed seventh overall in the nine-team field, led by junior Maren Weaver's top-15 finish.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Weaver paced Arcadia with a 14th-place finish, crossing in 25:35.6.

Senior Grace Curnow followed in 21st place with a time of 26:01.5.

Junior Tia Leister was next for the Knights, placing 25th overall in 26:25.1.

Graduate-Student Jackie Engler crossed fourth for Arcadia in 42nd place at 27:17.4.

First-year Taylor Huckzo rounded out the Knights' scoring five, placing 69th with a time of 29:19.1.

Additional finishers for Arcadia included Taylor McCue (73rd), Gianna Sube (76th), Bridget Jacobson (80th), Maggie Mead (81st), Sarah Agnew (85th), Emma Mae Jones (88th), Jhane Owens (89th), and Emmy Brown Varon (90th).

The Knights will return to action on Friday, Oct. 3, at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.
