ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's cross country team competed at the Dutchmen Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley College on Saturday morning, placing eighth overall out of 16 teams in the 5,000M course. Junior Maren Weaver led the Knights with a sub-20-minute performance, setting a new PR in the 5,000M with 19:32.6.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Weaver paced the Knights with a time of 19:32.60, finishing 20th overall.
• Senior Grace Curnow followed closely, placing 24th in 19:53.50.
• Junior Tia Leister crossed the line in 20:27.90 for 29th overall.
• Graduate-Student Jackie Engler placed 52nd with a time of 21:47.80.
• First-year Emmy Brown Varon rounded out Arcadia's scoring five with a time of 22:47.70, good for 64th overall.
• Additional finishers for the Knights included Taylor Huckzo (23:02.30), Sarah Heffernan (23:31.80), Taylor McCue (23:46.50), Gianna Sube (23:49.40), Sarah Agnew (25:48.10), Emma Mae Jones (27:06.20), and Jhane Owens (28:37.50).
Arcadia posted an average team time of 20:53.90 to secure its top-10 team finish.

The Knights return to competition on September 20th when they travel to Doylestown to compete in the Aggie Open, hosted by Delaware Valley University.
