CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Arcadia University Women's volleyball team fell to DeSales 0-3 (13-25, 21-25, 22-25) in its first Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) match-up.

HOW IT HAPPENED

SET ONE: ARCADIA 13, DESALES 25

-DeSales jumped out to a quick 7-3 lead.

-A kill from Chana Rothschild broke up the Bulldogs momentum.

-DeSales secured the set.

SET TWO: ARCADIA 21, DESALES 25

-The set opened with kills from both teams.

-A service ace from Kelsi Warner and a kill from Julia Archelle tied the set at three.

-Arcadia trailed by one after a block from Devon Young and Rothschild.

-DeSales halted the Knights come back as the took the last point to close set two.

SET THREE: ARCADIA 22, DESALES 25

-Arcadia took the 6-4 lead with a block coming from Kylie Strange and Young.

-In the middle of the frame the set was locked at 11.

-The Knights went on a 7-0 run to regain the tie at 18.

-Late in the set, each team battled for points before the Bulldogs took the last four points to take the sweep.
