GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. - The Arcadia University's women's volleyball team defeated Ursinus in non conference action 3-1 (25-21, 13-25, 25-21, 25-22) and Gwynedd Mercy 3-1 (25-20, 25-23, 22-25, 25-20) on Saturday in its tri-match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: ARCADIA 25, URSINUS 21
- Ursinus went on a run with multiple kills, to lead 4-1.
- Arcadia responded with strong play to tie it at four.
- Julia Archelle and Anna Keer added kills to keep the Knights close, but the Bears pulled ahead 9-6.
- Arcadia battled back with a block from Chana Rothschild and Kelsi Warner to take a 14-13 lead.
- The Knights capitalized late with blocks from Rothschild and Alliy Kulas, plus kills by Kulas and Sydney Steiner, to pull away 24–21.
Set 2: ARCADIA 13, URSINUS 25
- Arcadia tied it 2-2 after back-to-back Ursinus attack errors.
- Kulas and Kylie Strange teamed up for a block, pulling the Knights within one at 10-11.
- Ursinus responded with a big run.
- The Bears took set two.
Set 3: ARCADIA 25, URSINUS 21
- The Knights started with a quick 4-1 lead.
- Ursinus responded and tied the set.
- Arcadia regained control with a Devon Young service ace and a kill from Keer.
- The Knights finally broke through with a Kulas kill gave them the edge, and Kailyn Riggi delivered two kills late to make it 23-21.
- Rothschild's kill from Warner sealed the set after a long back-and-forth, giving Arcadia the set 25-21.
Set 4: ARCADIA 25, URSINUS 22
- Ursinus jumped ahead early.
- Warner took control at the service line with three straight service aces, sparking Arcadia to a 13-10 lead.
- Both teams traded errors and kills to 18-18, highlighted by Kulas service ace and Rothschilds' block.
- Kylie Strange finished the set with a kill, sealing a 25-22 win for Arcadia.

- Arcadia capitalized on early Gwynedd mistakes to take a 3-1 lead.

- The Griffins clawed back, going on a 7-0 run.
- Gwynedd Mercy kept its momentum and took set three.
SET FOUR: ARCADIA 25, GWYNEDD MERCY 20
- Rothschild provided a spark with two kills, while Fryer added points to push Arcadia ahead 6-2.
- Fryer delivered a service ace, stretching the lead to 15-9 and drawing a Gwynedd timeout.
- The Griffins answered with a short run.
- Arcadia closed the set 25–20 to stay in control of the match.
