NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its latest Players of the Week, with two Arcadia University student-athletes earning recognition. Bryce Battaglia of the men's ice hockey team and Cameron Birch of the men's volleyball team were honored for their performances this past week.

Battaglia, a junior from Gretna, Nebraska, helped the Knights post a 2-0-0 record with conference victories over Misericordia University and King's College. In a 3-1 road win at Misericordia, Battaglia recorded an assist. He followed that performance with a standout effort in a 4-0 Senior Day victory over King's, scoring the game-winning goal and adding two assists. Battaglia currently leads the team with nine goals, 15 points, and four game-winning goals.

Birch, a senior libero from Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, guided the Knights to a 3-0 week, with all three victories coming in five-set matches. In a home win over Wilson College, Birch totaled 14 digs. He then posted a career-high 24 digs against New Jersey City University at a tri-match hosted by Drew University and added 17 digs against the host Rangers. Birch now has 112 digs this season and 612 for his career. He leads the conference with an average of 2.8 digs per set, and his 112 digs rank second in the MAC.
