ST. DAVIDS Pa. - The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team started the 2026 season with an 18-5 win over non-conference opponent Eastern on the road Saturday morning.

Sophomore Jaylee Killgore led the Knights with three goals in the season opener.

HOW IT HAPPENED

-The Knights struck early with a goal from Avery Ditze within the first minute.

-The Eagles tied the score halfway through the first before Ella Longacre ignited the Knights' offense, starting them on a 4-0 run to end the first quarter.

- Killgore continued to add to the score in the second, beginning another 5-0 run to close out the half, making the score 13-1.

-Eastern responded in the third with four goals of its own but it was no match as Arcadia closed the door in the final fifteen minutes of play with another three goals from Meghan Graham, Killgore, and Elizabeth Zanca.

-Taylor Funcheon recorded two saves on the day.
