DALLAS, Pa. - Down by eight with just over six minutes left, the Arcadia University women's basketball team finished the game on a 13-2 run to defeat Misericordia 54-51 in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play on Wednesday evening.
FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 14-7 overall and 7-2 in conference play.
-Misericordia fell to 9-11 and 4-5, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Arcadia trailed 14-12 after ten minutes of play.
-The Knights began the second quarter on an 8-0 run to go ahead 20-14.
-Misericordia closed the half with a 16-2 stretch as Arcadia faced a 30-22 deficit going into the break.
-The third quarter was a low scoring affair wth the Knights down 38-29 heading into the final quarter.
-The Cougars held a 47-36 lead with 7:20 on the clock, but Arcadia finished the contest with am 18-4 stretch to capture the huge victory.
