AMBLER - The offense exploded at Skip Wilson Field as the Arcadia University baseball team topped New Jersey City University 17-8 in non-conference play on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Max Oswald opened the scoring for the Knights in the bottom of the first with a two-run homer to center that brought home
Kevin Wheeler.
-NJCU tied the score on a two-run wild pitch in the top of the third.
-Arcadia retook the lead in the bottom of the frame when
Noah Stennett put down a safety squeeze bunt the brought home
Eric Shandler, followed by a Wheeler double to the gap in left-center that scored
Taro Pustilnik.
-NJCU pushed across five runs in the top of the fourth to take a 7-4 lead.
-The Knights loaded the bases in the bottom of the fourth and closed the gap to 7-6 on an RBI fielder's choice from Pustilnik that brought in
Joshua Agriesti and an RBI single off the bat of
Hunter Dicarlantonio that platedÂ
Solomon Abdullah.
- After NJCU scored in the top of the fifth to take an 8-6 advantage, Arcadia ripped off 11 unanswered as the bullpen closed the door.
