ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Arcadia University softball team opened its 2026 season falling twice at Muhlenberg on Wednesday 9-1 in six innings in game one and 7-5 in game two on Wednesday evening.

-Arcadia opened its season 0-2.
-Muhlenberg improved to 6-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 1, MUHLENBERG 9 (F/6)
-Muhlenberg opened the scoring with a run in the bottom of the first.

Kyleigh Mihalik tied the score in the top of the third with a single to right center that scored
Kritzie Diaz-Rivera.
-Muhlenberg plated eight unanswered to close the contest.

Sadie Drozdowski tied the score in the top of the second with a sacrifice fly to right that scored
Sofia Forbito.

Kiersten Murray gave Arcadia the lead later in the inning with a two-run single to right plating
Isabel Vitense and Diaz-Rivera.
-Muhlenberg retook the lead with two runs in the bottom of the second and one run in the bottom of the third.
-The Knights evened the score at four in the top of the fifth when DeMaio scored on an error.
-The Mules crossed the plate three times in the fifth to take a 7-4 lead.
-Murray finished the scoring in the top of the second when she scored on a throwing error by the catcher.
