Jacob Blair enters the tournament ranked seventh in the 133-pound bracket with a 29-3 record. Blair will open competition against 10th-seeded Connor Fiser (13-6) of Loras College. He followed that performance with a quarterfinal win over Blaise Verdino of Ursinus to advance to the semifinals. In the semifinals, Blair defeated Vincent Paolucci of York (Pa.) for the second time this season before medically forfeiting in the championship match. His runner-up finish secured his qualification for the national tournament.
James Lledo enters the 184-pound bracket unranked and will open the tournament against Casey Aikman of North Central, who enters with a 24-10 record. Lledo holds a 17-5 record this season, with 14 of his victories coming by fall. At regionals, Lledo compiled a 6-1 record, with all six wins coming by pin. He opened with victories over Devon O'Dell of York (Pa.) and Maxwell Corral of Merchant Marine before falling in the quarterfinals to Ganon Smith of Elizabethtown. Facing elimination, Lledo responded with four consecutive wins on day two, pinning each opponent to claim third place and earn his spot at the national championships.
Logan Flynn, the Region II champion at 285 pounds, enters the national tournament as the fifth seed. Flynn will face the winner of Wyatt Smith (26-8) of Coe and Cayden Bell (11-6) of Alma in his opening match. Flynn carries a 34-1 record into the tournament and posted a perfect 5-0 mark at regionals to become the program's first regional champion. He opened the tournament with a technical fall over Ross Worlds of Eastern before defeating Jake Pomykata of Johns Hopkins by fall. Flynn continued his dominant run with another fall over Nathan Faxon of NYU in the quarterfinals to secure a spot in the semifinals. He then earned a decision victory over Ksawery Niewiadomy of Elizabethtown before pinning Mohamed Abdelatty of Ursinus in the championship match to capture the regional title.
