LITTLE RIVER, S.C. - Multi-Run Innings lifted the Arcadia University softball team to an 8-7 win over Mount Saint Vincent on day three of spring break following a 7-4 defeat to Mount Aloysius earlier in the day.

-The Knights moved to 5-3 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME TWO: ARCADIA 8, MOUNT SAINT VINCENT 7
-Mount Saint Vincent opened the scoring with a run in the top of the first, and two more in the top of the third.
-Arcadia stormed back with four run in the bottom of the third on a two-run triple from
Kiersten Murray, an RBI single off the bat of
Sofia Forbito, and a run-scoring double from
Samantha Edwards.
-After Mount Saint Vincent tied the score in the top of the fourth,
Sadie Drozdowski gave the Knights the lead back with a two-run inside the park home run scoring Forbito.
-Mount Saint Vincent knotted the score at six with two runs in the top of the fifth.
-In the bottom of the inning, Edwards doubled to right scoring Forbito and
Isabel Vitense singled scoring Edwards to give Arcadia the lead back for good.
-Mount Saint Vincent had the tying run on third with two outs in the top of the seventh but
Dakota Fanelli was able to close out the win.

-Mount Aloysius jumped in front with six runs in the first three innings.
-Forbito got the Knights on the board in the bottom of the fourth with a two-run single to left scoring
Kritzie Diaz-Rivera and
Kyleigh Mihalik.
-Forbito knocked an RBI single to left in the bottom of the sixth and Diaz-Rivera hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh but Arcadia was unable to close the gap.
