GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University softball team battled King's on Saturday afternoon, falling 5-2 and 9-5 in a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) doubleheader from Blankley Field.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia fell to 7-11 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
-King's improved to 10-12 and 3-1, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 2, KING'S 5
-King's opened the scoring with a run in the top of the fourth.
-Arcadia took the lead in the bottom of the fourth when
Kiersten Murray single to center scoring
Kyleigh Mihalik and
Sybella DeMaio singled to left bringing home Murray.
-King's took the lead for for good with two tuns in the fifth and two in the seventh.

GAME TWO: ARCADIA 5, KING'S 9
-King's crossed the plate three times in the top of the first.
-The Knights cut the deficit in the bottom of the first when
Samantha Edwards walked with the bases loaded but Arcadia was unable to push any additional runs across.
-After King's pushed the score to 5-1 in the top of the second,
Sadie Drozdowski and Murray brought in runs in the bottom of the frame to make the count 5-3.
-Drozdowski and Mihalik added RBI's in the fourth to finish the scoring for the Knights.
