AMBLER - A seven-run fourth inning backed an eight-inning gem from
LJ Wolff as the Arcadia University baseball team opened its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) series against Delaware Valley with an 8-3 win at Skip Wilson Field on Friday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 19-11 overall and 11-5 in conference play.
-Delaware Valley fell to 14-19 and 5-11, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Max Oswald got the Knights scoring started in the bottom of the fourth with a two-run double to left center scoring
Kevin Wheeler and
Solomon Abdullah.

Peter Trendafilov followed one batter later with a single to left that brought Oswald around.

Eric Shandler,
Ryan Radigan, and So. Abdullah each drove runs in before the fourth inning ended.
-Delaware Valley crossed the plate in the top of the sixth, and scored twice in the ninth to finish the scoring.
-Wolff pitched into the ninth inning, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits with 10 strikeouts and two walks.
