NEWTOWN, Pa. - Arcadia University women's swimming junior
Ava Despeaux has been named to the 2025-26 Women's Swimming Academic All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), as announced by the conference office on Thursday morning.

Despeaux earned Third Team All-MAC honors at the 2026 MAC Championships in both the 100 and 200-yard butterfly. Despeaux also finished fifth individually in the 200 individual medley, setting a new personal best of 2:13.39, while also contributing to the 200 medley relay that finished fourth and the 400 medley relay that took fifth.
The Winter Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2026 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.
